Cute penguin heart cards

Cute penguin heart cards crafts for kids

How adorable are these cute penguin heart cards? My son made one of these today to give his Grandma for her birthday and i just know she is going to love it! They’re really quick, simple and cheap to make so they’re not only great for individuals but for groups such as preschools and schools too.

You will need

  • Black card
  • White/Orange paper
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue

First, take a black piece of card and fold it in half. Draw a circle on your black card making sure that you leave a gap in your circle on the fold as shown above. You dont want to end up cutting two detatched circles!

Snip the bottom of your card to give it a flat edge to stand up on.

Cut out a heart from your white paper. Make sure that you still have enough room for your penguin’s face and flippers.

Fold a piece of orange paper in half. Using the fold as the base, cut out a triangle to give you a folded diamond shape. Glue one half of your diamond shape down on your penguin as above. Finish off by adding two googly eyes. All that’s left to do now is add your own special message inside your card!
